Ours

  • The HoneyMoney application, its source code, design, interface, written content, the three-bucket method as presented here, and the H-Score methodology are owned by Team JUST50 and protected by Malaysian copyright law.
  • The HoneyMoney name and logo are ours. Do not use them to name your own product, to imply we endorse something, or in a way that suggests an association that does not exist. Referring to HoneyMoney by name — in a review, an article, or a comparison — is fine and needs no permission.

Yours

  • You own everything you put in: your records, your notes, your receipts, your goals. We claim no ownership of any of it.
  • You give us permission to store it, process it and display it back to you, and to share it with your household to the extent your own sharing switches say so. That permission exists only to run the service for you, and it ends when you delete the data or close the account.
  • We do not use your records to train an AI model. Not ours, not anyone else's.

Open source we depend on

  • HoneyMoney is built on open-source software, and the licences of those components are respected in full. The principal ones, with their licences: Next.js and React (MIT), PocketBase (MIT), Tailwind CSS (MIT), tesseract.js and the Tesseract OCR engine (Apache 2.0), pdf.js (Apache 2.0), and the Tesseract language models published by Google (Apache 2.0).
  • The complete dependency list, with the licence of each package and its version, is in package.json and package-lock.json in the application, which is the authoritative record. Ask at privacy@honeymoney.app for a copy of any licence text.
  • Where an open-source licence requires attribution, this page is that attribution. Where one requires source availability, we will provide it on request for the components it applies to.
